I founded Asianajotoimisto Sillanpää Ltd, Attorneys-at-Law in 2018. Before becoming an entrepreneur, I worked as an associate lawyer at a solicitor’s office and as a lawyer from 2011. I was accepted as a member of the Finnish Bar Association in 2014. Before I started my career as a lawyer, I underwent court training in the Northern Savo District Court in Iisalmi in 2010 to 2011, and briefly worked as an assistant in the subject pool for property and commercial law and law of obligations in the Faculty of Law at the University of Lapland.

I have wanted to be an attorney since I was at school, and my career choice was sealed when I worked as a trainee at a solicitor’s office in Germany in the summer of 2007. In my work I get great satisfaction from being able to help people solve their problems because in my view, the customer, whether a private individual or a company, is always a person.

My other values include confidentiality and rapid action without compromising the quality of the service. I take an individual approach to each client and assignment and consider the client’s individual needs in order to be able to find the best solution to each case.

While I have completed various kinds of assignments involving a wide range of subject matters during my career, I primarily focus on property and construction law, labour law, bankruptcy law and company law. I have also got extensive experience in assignments that concern family and inheritance laws.

In addition to Finnish, I can handle assignments in English and German.

In my leisure time, I enjoy reading, cycling, building plastic scale models and playing board games, particularly chess. While I feel at home in Tampere and the Pirkanmaa region, I also enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside when I visit my family’s summer cottage in Kuusamo in Northern Finland.
